The 23rd Annual Children’s Day in the Park will be held Saturday, May 19 at the Atascadero Lake Park from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by The LINK, City of Atascadero and the County of San Luis Obispo. The net proceeds of the sponsorships and booths will all go to support Atascadero Children and Families. You may have participated in the past and know what a wonderful and fun event this is for all. We hope you participate this year!

Joing us for The LINK Annual Benefit Dinner

This year’s event will take place at Pear Valley Winery. Come joint us in support of The Central Coast LINK’s programs and services to children, youth and families.

The winery is located at 4900 Union Road in Paso Robles, CA. To purchase tickes click here or follow the link to the left.

From Hwy 101: Take the Hwy 46 East exit toward Bakersfield/Fresno. Turn right on Union road & make a sharp left. Pear Valley is located on the left hand side approx. 3 miles down Union.

From Hwy 46 coming from the Central Valley: While heading West on Hwy 46 turn left on Branch Road. Take Branch Road until it ends at Union. Turn right on Union and Pear Valley is located on the right hand side approx. 1 mile

Chidren’s Services Day

Atascadero Unified Schools received a $500.00 grant from Wal-Mart to help fund Enrollment Services Day. The event was held at Santa Rosa Elementary School where community agencies and district staff were present to pass out information and answer questions for families. Free items like coloring books, tooth brushes, tangerines, & resource guides were given away. School supplies & backpacks were raffled off to help children get prepared for the new school year. Some of the participants were CHC, Champions Child Care Program, Teens at Work, Central Coast LINK, and A.U.S.D. staff.
