Youth Programs
The LINK is continually developing and nurturing programming that meets the needs of youth in our communities, integrates asset development, builds resilience and leadership. Our current programs include Teens At Work, Community Service and Latina Step Forward.
Teens At Work is an innovative program that utilizes real work experience to develop jobs skills, work ethic, and responsibility while earning a paycheck that contributes to family stability.
The Community Service program provides opportunities for youth to locate and complete the requirements of community service assigned through probation, the courts or schools.
The Latina Step Forward Program seeks to provide an early intervention platform for young Latinas in middle school. The program works to develop leadership skills through training, mentoring, and community service activities. The LINK recognizes that our youth today will become our future family and business leaders tomorrow, and our return on investments will be a positive impact on our future.
